How to Order
You can call our office to give your order to a member of staff or safely order online

Ordering online
Stage 1 - adding products to the shopping cart
- Each product will have a dropdown menu showing options, such as pot type, product sizes and prices. Select the option you wish to order and click the "Buy Now" button.
- You will see that you have now added this item to the shopping basket and you can update the quantity you wish to order. Click "Back" if you want to order something else.
Stage 2 - payment method & personal details
- You can now login if you have an account or choose to open an account (this is not compulsory) so that your details are retained for future orders and you will have an option to be notified about promotions.
- Scroll down & select a "Payment Method" from the dropdown menu.
- Enter your billing and delivery address. (if you have an account your billing address will be entered automatically)
- Enter any special instructions in the "customer notes" box and then click the "submit" button.
Stage 3 - secure payment by credit/debit card
- You will be redirected to a secure payment page belonging to Secure Trading who connect with all major banks.
- Enter your card details and click "Send Payment"
- You will be returned to a confirmation page on our website and a confirmation email will be sent to you shortly afterwards.
Paying online with a Gift Voucher
- Select the "I would like to pay part or all of my order with a gift voucher" from the Payment Method dropdown menu.
- Enter the gift voucher number
- Proceed as in Stage 3 above where any additional payment will be requested if applicable.
Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers can be purchased online like any other of our products.
You can choose to have the voucher number emailed directly to the person who is to receive the gift voucher with a personal message, or email it to yourself so you can choose how to present the gift. A confirmation email with the voucher number is also sent to the sender after purchase.
Gift vouchers can be used in full or in part payment towards the purchase of any items on our website. Unspent value is retained for future purchases, and this can be checked online by the purchaser or by contacting us.
Vouchers can be redeemed against purchases within 12 months of issue by entering the voucher number in the checkout section of our website.

Security
The safe receipt and verification of customer's credit and debit card details has always been an extremely high priority to us. We continue to maintain high levels of security by using the service of Secure Trading who link your card details to the banking services.
The Silk Plant Company do not have access to your card details when you place your online order. When you submit your order from our website you are transferred to a secure page on Secure Trading's website where you enter and submit your card details. Validity and security checks are made and you presented with a confirmation page on-screen and by email.
This method is safer for you as you only submit your card details to Secure Trading, who are entrusted high security intermediaries for all the major banks.
Returns
If for any reason you wish to return and be refunded for any of the items purchased from our website, contact us within 8 working days of receiving the items. Our working days are Monday-Friday.
Please do not use the items and re-pack in the original packaging. We will provide a return warehouse address to which you should send the item(s).
Please ensure that the goods are insured in transit.
We are able to collect using our own carriers from business addresses only.
Return carriage costs (if applicable) will be deducted from any credit.
Credit for returned items will be made by the original payment method within 14 days of receipt.
Items manufactured, customised to customer requirements or not offered for sale on our website cannot be returned.
Accounts
By opening an account we can notify you of promotions and our website will remember your billing address details when you login.
We only provide credit accounts for UK Government Departments & Agencies.
Exports
We export to many countries around the world, but transport rates have increased so much over recent years that it comes as a bit of a shock when we mention this cost, which for the U.S. can be about three times the cost if ordering a single tree!
It really only pays to have items sent from us in the UK to other countries outside of Europe when they are for a major project. The shipping cost is much lower proportionally because we can obtain better prices for the larger volume of the shipment.
